Hair Care Tips

Raw and Virgin hair should be considered an investment and requires special care to maintain its natural beauty and longevity.

BEFORE INSTALLATION

  • One of the many perks with choosing us is we pre-wash and condition all of our bundles for it to be ready for install upon arrival!!

ONGOING HAIR CARE

  • Avoid cutting wefts to prevent any shedding. If wefts must be cut, use weft sealer.
  • Brush and detangle only while wet or with conditioner is on using a wide-tooth brush—starting from the ends and working your way to the root gently.
  • Wash your extensions with sulfate-free and paraben-free shampoo/conditioner.
  • Deep condition 1-2 times a month to maintain moisture.
  • Let your extensions air dry or blow dry on low heat when possible.
  • Apply a small amount of argan oil, but avoid excessive product buildup that could weigh your virgin bundles down.
  • For curly bundles, use water and a leave-in conditioner daily for styling. Only tangle while hair is wet or with conditioner while starting gently from the tips working your way slowly and gently up to the roots. Make sure to do it in small sections. When curly/wavy hair is dry, please use your hands to style.
  • Note: Raw Hair can tend to get bigger in humid temperatures especially when the hair is air dry. Curly Hair will revert back to texture when wet or washed as long it is not over processed by bleach.
  • Always use a heat protectant before applying hot tools (flat iron, curling iron, etc.) to minimize breakage and preserve the hair’s natural texture.
  • Sleep with a silk bonnet or scarf to maintain moisture. For Curly/Wavy bundles-we recommend putting your hair in 4-6 twists or you can put up in the pineapple method.
  • For coloring, always visit a licensed colorist to prevent over-processing and breakage.

CLOSURES CARE

  • Visit a professional stylist to color and tone knots to avoid over-bleaching and shedding.
  • Avoid excessive combing or scratching of the lace, as this can cause the knots to loosen and lead to shedding.
  • Follow the same hair care tips above to maximize the lifespan of your lace product.
